We were happy to be able to bring our dog with us. They are very welcoming to dogs which is wonderful. In fact the whole town of Cambria welcomes your furry pets. We had a room downstairs with a patio which was perfect for us. The room was spacious and very comfortable, and the heater worked great. The bed and sheets were comfortable too.

This is the second time we stayed at Cambria Pines, and this time was even more absolutely amazing. We stayed in the king cottage suite with the Jacuzzi. The bed was amazing. The lighting was amazing. The cleanliness was amazing. The staff went over and above because my room wasn’t ready we got free breakfast, a bottle of wine with dinner and they comped the Jacuzzi fee. It was huge exceeded the expectation, and the generosity and kindness of the staff was overwhelming planning on staying in the king cottage suite every few months and the price was absolutely phenomenal beats any hotel motel on the beach anywhere in Cambria. And we stayed everywhere along the beach at all the moonstone motels.

The room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. The view over the trees was also very pleasant.

Dining and lounge were an unexpected bonus. We were weary from being on the road all day and did not have the energy to find a restaurant in town and ate at the lodge. The food was hearty and good. The lounge was lively and crowded. There is live music every night and made for an enjoyable evening. The grounds are expansive and well maintained. Signs and maps are posted throughout the grounds which made it easy to navigate our way around the premises.

Beautiful location and lovely gardens to walk around. Cute walking path leads to the nursery which is also more of a botanical garden than a typical nursery. The room was comfy/cute enough and clean.

Our room was a nice quiet and secluded area called "Woodfern." We chose a downstairs room as my husband is unable to climb stairs too well. Also, the on-site breakfast voucher was a great bonus as we didn't have to pack up and drive out somewhere to eat. Breakfast buffet was great with lots of healthy choices for those who have special diets.

Beautiful room decor, very welcoming and comfortable. Easy access to parking area for luggage unloading/reloading. Nice bathroom and coffee supplies.

Couch in the room was black with dirt. This was a red velvet couch. The arms were black with dirt. The cushions had some dirt on the edge too. The rest of the cottage was very clean.. However, the couch being so black with dirt on the arms gave us a negative feeling . The room cost $450 a night and the fact the couch was so dirty was upsetting. We brought blankets to cover the furniture to protect it from our dog should she jump on it to sleep so we were able to enjoy the room without focusing on a dirty couch.
